Bold Design - Oscar Niemeyer

Organic Forms - Benedetta Tagliabue

Lumion Snapshots:

Curved, industrial form very similar to the works of Benedetta Tagliabue, especially the canopy style roof, which replicates the style of cover used in her Santa Caterina Market.

Huge red arches hold the structure together but make the light rail stop seem as if it is should not be able to hold the weight of the roof. This was done to show the technological side of the university and give students and visitors a sense of awe as they entered and left the university

Light texture used on the stair, Dark texture used in base of light-rail station

 Medium texture used in light-rail stop signage

Medium Texture used in seating (roof shape mirrored in seats)

Arch design repeated as lighting throughout the central walkway through the university, inspired by the grand arches and bold design of Oscar Niemeyer.
